Speaking at a forum sponsored by The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, [Tony] Blair pointed out the shortcomings of peaceful negotiation.
“President Obama’s reaching out to the Muslim world at the start of a new American administration is welcome, smart, and can play a big part in defeating the threat we face,” he said. “But it will expose, too, the delusion of believing that there is any alternative to waging this struggle to its conclusion.”
I assume his comments are directed at the extremists of the Moslem world. There are case of faithful Moslems dying because they wanted to live in peace with their non-Moslem neighbors.

Read the newspapers, watch TV. It seems almost daily there are peace loving Moslems being slaughtered by Moslem extremists because they dare to live peacebly with their neighors who may not be extremists. At the latest count 10’s of thousands of innocents have died at Moslem extremist hands. It would interesting if the innocents suddenly were armed and willing to shoot back and did!!
